With all hopes of an uninterrupted 2021 at Owairoa shattered with almost immediate effect, it was one of our newly appointed House Leaders who felt the hardest done by due to our latest lockdown fiasco.
Cooper Gold, from Room 25, was outraged to learn that the Takatimu kingpins were to miss out on their assigned duty week. Not to be deterred, he set about transferring his school responsibilities to his home in order to showcase his new role to his family.
He dutifully vacuumed the kitchen floors, made the dinner dishes sparkle and remained friendly to the environment by sorting the rubbish and recycling into the correct bins.
What a fantastic role model Owairoa has on its hands!
