Ngā mihi o te Tau Hou! Welcome Back to 2024! We have welcomed two new teachers to the Senior School this year – Ms Johnson in M11 and Miss Pethig in M14.
We have made an excellent start to the year with ten Senior classes, five in Team 5 led by Mr O’Brien, and five in Team 6 led by Ms Findley. Learning programmes are up and running in each room and the children are settling in well.
Senior students will continue to have ISTEAM every Friday. The House Leaders assembly has taken place and mediator training will begin soon. All Year 6 students will have an opportunity to have monitoring roles across the school to develop their leadership and citizenship skills.
We are looking forward to a busy term full of exciting learning opportunities for our Senior students to enjoy.
I would like to extend a special welcome to all the new families joining the Senior school this year and welcome back all our returning families as well!
