Hopefully everyone is well rested and ready for an exciting last term of 2022. We have some major events this term from our Great Owairoa Obstacle Fun Run, to Literacy week and many others, so keep an eye out for notices.
This term in the Junior School we are looking at the topic of Change and exploring the different experiences this has to offer. We will be conducting experiments on changing states of matter, learning about changes through time as well as preparing our learners for the big year change at the end of the term.
The Junior School held our Flash Trash Fashion show on the last day of Term 3 and what a fantastic event it was! The students did an amazing job at thinking outside of the box to design and create such intricate costumes and looked like they had a great time walking the catwalk. Thank you to all those who came along to support our fashion show despite the rain.
As the weather heats up in Term 4, we will need our hats, summer uniform and sunscreen to keep us safe in the hot sun so please make sure your learners are prepared for time outside. Swimming will also start again this term once the temperature heats up, which we are looking forward to!
