Our Year One students have been learning how to cross the road safely with an adult but also how to use our school pedestrian crossing correctly.
We practised in groups using toy cars and drawing our own pedestrian crossings and roads on paper. Then we drew chalk outside on the concrete and role-played different scenarios in the playground, pretended to be cars!
We need to stop, look, listen and think, before we cross the road.
