Welcome Back to 2025!
I would like to extend a special welcome to all the new families joining the Senior School this year, and welcome back to all our returning families as well!
The Senior students have made an excellent start to the year with eleven Senior School classes: six in Team 5, led by Mr O’Brien, and five in Team 6, led by Ms Findley. Nine of these classes are located upstairs in the McIntyre building, and the remaining two are in Room 26 and Room 20. We are also pleased to welcome Miss Jones as a new Teacher in the Senior School this year.
Learning programmes are up and running in each room, and the children are settling in well. Teachers are focused on establishing clear routines to create a rich learning environment.
Year 6 Road Patrollers have begun their duties and are excited to help keep our school community safe. The House Leaders assembly will take place this Tuesday, and Mediator training will begin next week.
In the coming weeks, all Senior students will have the opportunity to take part in the Kōkōkaha Sailing Experience. We are looking forward to a busy term full of exciting learning opportunities for our Senior students to enjoy.
