Term 1 has been jammed packed with exciting learning.
As part of our inquiry this term, the Year 1 learners have looked at what it means to be sun smart. They used the design process to design, test and create their own hats.
Each individual learner created a hat that was unique to them. We had all sorts of weird and wonderful hats, with some being tall, short, and even pointy.
At the end of the term, the Year 1’s celebrated their learning by inviting parents to watch their hat parade. The parents were excited to be part of this learning with many laughs and smiles seen throughout the afternoon.
We look forward to seeing what new and exciting things take place in Term 2.
