In Week 10, Owairoa hosted the highly anticipated Inventors Fair, showcasing the incredible creativity and ingenuity of our students. Throughout Term 2, each class devoted time to developing and creating innovative ideas, and the results were nothing short of impressive.
In the Middle School, M1 students crafted beautiful birdhouses for the Kakariki, ensuring our feathered friends have cosy homes. M2 tackled environmental issues with their inventive space junk contraptions, aiming to clean up the cosmos. M9 harnessed cutting-edge technology, using 3D printers to design imaginative playgrounds. M5 focussed on their beloved desk pets, constructing intricate houses to keep them comfortable. M3 brought joy and entertainment by designing and building a variety of engaging cardboard games.
The fair was a vibrant display of student talent and hard work, with each project reflecting the unique creativity and problem-solving skills of our young inventors. The enthusiasm and innovation displayed by our students were truly inspiring, making the 2024 Inventors Fair a memorable highlight of the year!
