There has been a lot of sporting activity in the Senior School over the last few months. We have teams going out for Hockey, Football, Cross Country and Netball. Mr Rossiter has been training with the Rugby team getting them ready for the HPPA tournament.
The HPPA is Howick Pakuranga Principals Association. This encompasses many schools around the Howick / Pakuranga area. The schools get together and play sporting tournaments throughout the year. The HPPA has a Fair Play Charter which is to encourage players, coaches, parents and spectators to promote participation in sports for fun and to be respectful.
Our Rugby team is being celebrated this week. They have played over two tournaments and come out winners. This is the first time in quite a while we have brought home the cup. Congratulations to the team and Mr Rositer for the time and effort put into this achievement. The cup will be proudly displayed in the cabinet in the office.
