This term, the Middle School is buzzing with excitement as we prepare for our end of year Middle School concert. Year 3 and 4 learners have been hard at work, learning their class items daily and showcasing incredible dedication to their performances. With a mix of dance, singing, and acting, every rehearsal has been filled with energy and enthusiasm.
Under the guidance of our new music teacher, Sarah Won, students have been learning more than just the notes and movements. Sarah has introduced them to three brand new songs, focusing on essential skills like pitch, tone, and rhythm. This has not only improved their singing abilities but also boosted their confidence and teamwork.
During rehearsals, learners have been diving deep into the art of performance, discovering the importance of expressing emotion through their acting, staying in sync during their dance routines, and mastering the vocal techniques needed to shine on stage. Their hard work and growing skills are evident in every practice session, and the excitement is contagious!
The concert promises to be a spectacular showcase of creativity, talent, and the strong sense of community that defines our Middle School. Parents, whānau, and friends will be in for a treat as the learners take to the stage to share what they’ve been working on this term.
We can’t wait to see all of you at the Middle School Concert, where our learners will truly shine!
