The Year 1’s have been loving Science this term as we explore the topic of sound! We have had the opportunity to see and feel sound waves in action though a range of hands-on activities and used instruments and movement to create different sounds.
Room 9 loved the activity which involved salt, a speaker and a clear drum! When Mrs Farid played music through the speaker, the drum vibrated which caused the salt to move or as Room 9 put it… dance.
We look forward to seeing what other awesome activities this term will bring in the Science room.
