The Junior School dived into Maths Week with many challenges to solve. Mrs Rice set Maths problems for students to investigate and solve each day, joining online to hear the answer – closest answer wins a prize!
Teachers, attendance records, Lego blocks, dice rolls and favourite colours. Twenty one teachers managed to pass a hoop holding hands in two minutes! Did you know there were 84 students away on Tuesday? On the last day we dressed up in our favourite colours and guessed which would be the most popular choice of colour in the Junior School.
Room 8 inquired into the Horse Racing mystery, with strange horse names and certain horses winning. Students drew upon their addition knowledge to discover the answer. The horses that kept winning had the most addition combinations with two dice. Speedy Simon, Slow Sam and Zooming Zac were just a few of our horse names.
